About Me

I have spent over 20 years working with young people, families, parents, men and women; through my work as a residential social worker, working with homeless families, individuals / families in temporary accommodation, youth work and teaching, I have gained an insight into the demands, fears, loss of control and the sense of being overwhelmed that many of us may face.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. I work in the present exploring how an individual may be experiencing life in the 'here and now' by providing a space for clients to share their truth without judgement and accepting the truth of the clients lived experience.

My experience has included working in the charity sector with both young people and adults, supporting individuals with various issues such as anxiety, bereavement, trauma, low-self esteem and anger. I attend mandatory safeguarding training and regular CPD courses to support my therapeutic work.

Alongside my private practice I have worked with local leading mental health charities: Signpost Counselling, Watford; Mosaic Counselling Services CIC, St Albans. I provide counselling for individuals on a short or long term basis.
